Rachel Sorensen is a lighting designer pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She has designed lights for several original productions at UHM, including I’m Lot Lane (a solo effort), for which she won the KCACTF Region 8 National Lighting Design Award. She has designed lights for the Manoa Valley Theatre production of Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding in 2019, and she was a lighting consultant for As You Like It at the Hawaiʻi Shakespeare Festival in 2020. She is also a professional improviser and performed with Role For It at Improvaganza! The Hawaii Festival of Improv in 2018.
