"Have you tried WANTING to get better?" - Doctor

 

Ava has an unexplained illness arrive overnight that leaves her disabled, leaving her to navigate a series of frustrating and quirky characters comprising her surprisingly ableist community, including a callous doctor, inquisitive Uber drivers, and an anthropomorphic spoon. You're NOT Sick is a new dark comedy about living with disability in Hawai'i in 2023.

 

We are partnering with Aloha Independent Living Hawaii, a fantastic nonprofit organization who provides independent living programs and services for persons with disabilities in all over Hawai'i (alohailhawaii.org). Every performance will have representatives available with information on how you can support O'ahu's disabled community.
